Detroit 4Fest 2026 – Jeep Off-Road Event Guide

Detroit 4Fest is one of Michigan’s premier off-road events, bringing together Jeep® owners, off-road enthusiasts, families, and industry leaders for a weekend of trail riding, training, competition, and community. Hosted at Holly Oaks ORV Park, this two-day event blends hands-on off-roading with vendor experiences, food trucks, live music, and family-friendly fun.

With trail access, driver education, competitive hill climbs, and opportunities to earn your Jeep® Badge of Honor, Detroit 4Fest is a must-visit event for both new and seasoned off-roaders across Michigan and the Midwest.

The Notch Shootout – Hill Climb Competition

The Notch Shootout is one of Detroit 4Fest’s signature attractions. This exciting hill climb competition takes place on Saturday and is open to multiple vehicle classes.

  • Entry Fee: $50
  • Classes:
    • Rock Bouncer / Buggy
    • Full Size with Body
    • UTV / SxS
  • Fastest hill climb times per class win cash prizes

This competition draws both drivers and spectators looking for high-energy off-road action.


Off-Road 101 Training Sessions

Detroit 4Fest offers Off-Road 101 training sessions presented by Eaton, designed to help drivers learn how to safely and confidently operate their Jeep® off-road features.

  • Beginner-friendly instruction
  • Small-group, guided trail rides
  • 1.5-hour sessions led by experienced instructors
  • Cost: $25 (limited spots available)

Select sessions include women-only courses hosted by Wicked Jeeps.

Session Times:
12:00 PM – Women Only
1:00 PM – Open Session
3:00 PM – Open Session
Meeting Location: North End of Vendor Village


Passport to Prizes

Don’t miss the Passport to Prizes experience at Detroit 4Fest. Attendees receive a free passport to collect stamps from sponsor booths throughout the event.

  • Visit sponsor tents to collect stamps
  • Completed passports are entered into prize drawings
  • Grand prize includes an all-expenses-paid trip to Moab, Utah

Prize drawings take place at 6:00 PM, making this a fun way to explore the vendor area and engage with event partners.

Holly Oaks ORV Park is part of the Jeep® Badge of Honor program. Drivers can earn official trail badges by completing eligible trails and logging their experience through the Badge of Honor app.

Download the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play and discover trails based on difficulty, location, and highlights.
